On my journeys I took pictures of some animals as well. Some of them are not too bad so that I will show them to you. To get this nice picture of the dolphin at the top I needed quiet a lot of pictures. Most of the pictures of this page are from my trip to NZ.

Fox

This cute little fox joined my rest at a walk in the "Abbruzzen" in Italy. He was cheeky enough to seek something to eat at another couple that was sitting close to me.

Black swans

On my "Back to nature"-tour in NZ I saw these black swans and several other animals. Something different to watch at, isn't it?

Seals or sea-lions???

I always have problems to distinguish between seals and see-lions. Anyway this is a picture of a mother with her kids. Aren't they cute?????

Toheroa

This very rare kind of mussel is located only on two beaches in NZ. These mussels are protected because they are dying out. This mussel is a delicacy. So you have to put them back into the sand if you got them out of the sand for taking the picture!

Gull

This gull I watched during a short rest at the beach of Russel. When I took this picture I didn't expect it would be so amazing. The colours are unbelievable.

Hippopotamus

These two hippopotamuses from the zoo in Auckland did the best you could do on this hot and moistures weather: taking a bath!

Ape with an orange

This ape from Bali was very happy about this fresh food we offered him. Of course he wanted more afterwards. He got them and we got lots of nice pictures. Do you think he is proud to be on my homepage?

Ape mother with child

But this ape wasn't alone! There had been many more apes than we had oranges. Also this mother hoped to get some of them. And she got them. Babies are too cute!
